4 The Thatcher visitors walk up the church aisle as every child turns to stare

5 The Sunday-school shows off for the visitors as teachers fuss and paper wads fly

6 Tom holds up a thick wad of tickets and asks for a Bible as the superintendent freezes

7 Judge Thatcher smiles and holds out a hand as he asks Tom to name the first two disciples

8 Tom proudly holds his new Bible and shouts the wrong answer to the Judge's question.
