The Road Through the Forest

The yellow brick road winds across empty, untilled country toward a dark green forest

Dorothy, her kiss-mark softly glowing, tells the Scarecrow with earnest tenderness that no place compares to home.

An old crow on the Scarecrow's shoulder tells him brains are the only thing worth having

At evening a girl, a straw-stuffed scarecrow and a small black dog walk arm in arm toward a huge green tunnel of branches arching over the yellow brick road.
